Hair Transplant Online Consultation

Dear Doctor:

I am 35 years old and have had hair loss for the past 10 years. It seems to
have stabilized somewhat (i.e., minimal fallout/loss currently) so I am
exploring options for hair replacement.

My questions for all are presented below.

1. Given the extent of my hairloss is it possible (I think I am almost a
Norwood 6) to get reasonable frontal hairline (a Norwood 2 perhaps). I am
willing to have less that full coverage in the crown area. Also given the
photos how many grafts/follicles will need to be transplanted.

2. How many sessions would it take? How would you decide which parts to do first? What kind of density would be achievable in the frontal area? How
much would it cost?

3. Even though my hair loss seems to have stabilized is there any risk of
further loss in the potential donor area at the back?

4.Is it necessary/possible to tap into body hair esp. chest hair? What are
the risks involved? Would there be additional cost? I have attached my chest hair photo.

5) Any comments, advice or what you think is realistic for my case would be appreciated.

Looking forward to your answers.

HairSite Visitor.

Dear case 118,

You look like a great candidate for hair transplant.

You have amazing density at the back and good chest hair. There are different approaches you could take. Please send me your telephone number and I'll give you a call to discuss your options in detail,
